Great place to get away to. The sites are large and there is so much room for tents etc. The full hook up sites aren't very level though and the bathhouse aren't always the cleanest. Does seem pricey at $31 for just electricity though. With the Golden Buckeye card there is a discount though.
I thought I'd already done this last week, but here we go. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. From camping, fishing, kayaking,mini golf, mini store to different bikes available to rent ( and for real golf, the course is right across the street), you've got most everything covered. We'll be back. Thanks again!
This is a really nice campground. All the sites are freshly paved and have new concrete pads for your picnic table. The campsites are big, you don't feel like you are on top of the next campsite.
One of the best campgrounds we've stayed at in Ohio!! Numerous sites are heavily wooded with a little alcove containing your fire ring and picnic table so it's secluded and private! Most sites you couldn't see neighbors. Best campground playground I've ever seen with a merry go round, zipline, climbing wall, slides, etc. Had a sports area with gaga pits, basketball courts, soccer nets, etc. Also had a FREE mini golf course, holes 1-9 are really fun and challenging. We ran out of time to play 10-18 but they were boring looking anyways. Very wooded dog park my dog enjoyed. Laundromat available in shower house #1 & 4. They had a storybook trail my 4 year old greatly enjoyed. Really neat looking disc golf course (we didn't try)! My ONLY complaint was the shower. The shower head nozzle was fixed so you couldn't aim it anywhere. The spray pattern was a big circle with zero water in the middle and the only bench was located OUTSIDE of your shower curtain in the main hallway for all to see. Like the kind they had when I was a kid 25 years ago. Most campground showers have been updated with benches inside your curtain area before your shower area and have movable nozzles. Could definitely use some updating! But at least the water was hot, shower house was heated, and was very clean.
Very clean campground with lots of activities for kids and adults. Employees were super friendly and helpful!
The full hookup spots are wonderful. We were close to a couple of hiking trails, and we took full advantage of them. We enjoyed the park, and the camping. Thank you

Nice park. Great staff. My issue was I was on site 223. There is a large garage that is lit up all night. The lights are by every door and are not just focused on the door. Without shades it's like daylight. A simple fix which put blinds over most of it just not the part shinning on the doors would be nice. Otherwise no complaints. Easy online reservations. Nice staff at check-in. Ok price on firewood if you need a pack or two in an pinch. Was one of very few tents...mostly RVs at the time I was there in Sept.
